Film Festival: The Dead in Dixon Indie Horror Film Festival! @thedeadindixon

September 2013 Terror will descend upon Mid-Missouri; 2 days and 3 Nights of Madness and Music. The Dead in Dixon will feature the best in Independent Horror Films selected in 3 Rounds, Original Music played by some of the top bands around, RV and Tent Camping, Vendors, an Onsite Bar and Grill, and a chance to be in a Horror Movie Filmed DURING the Festival !!!

Tom H Productions and Katalyst Studios will be filming “The Dead In Dixon” a Feature Length Independent Horror Film over the course of the Festival. All paid entries will have a chance of being selected to appear in the film.

The Missouri Festival And RV Park is located in the heart of the Missouri Ozarks. It boasts 74 Full RV Hook Ups, over 200 Partial Hook ups and Camping for Hundreds !!! Hangout in front of the Outdoor Stage in the Football Field size Beer Garden, Grab a bite in The Americana Grill, or test your mettle in The Black Diamond Airsoft Park.

The Festival Venue holds a Capacity of 4,500 - 5,000 people! 

* We are seeking film Submissions from all Indie Horror Filmmakers!

* Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place entries as voted by a panel of judges!

* We are also going to have live Indie Metal/Rock bands play at the festival and we will be taking submissions from bands to have an opportunity to play at the festival. The bands that play will also be able to sell merchandise! 

* Vendors selling awesome merchandise!

There will be  A LOT more going on and we will keep you updated as we continue making progress. We have over 10 months to do this and we already have much of the capabilities to handle a large event! Please think about donating to the event to help with securing Special Guests as well as assisting in any upgrades we may have to do without having to dip into any money we could use for prizes.
